The Congregational Church of New Canaan welcomes new members into
the congregation three times each year
at the 9:30am service. New Member Sundays scheduled are:

February 5, 2012
May 6, 2012
To become a new member, the Deacons of the Church require attendance at two
orientation meetings in preparation for membership. The first meeting is held on
the Sunday afternoon the week preceding a New Member Sunday, from 4:00 to 5:30pm
and is an educational meeting. It provides an opportunity to meet our
ministers and committee chairpersons to learn about the history and organization
of our Church.
The second meeting is held on the Saturday morning preceding a new member
Sunday, from 9:00 to 10:30am. There is an opportunity to talk with the
deacons and ministers on a more informal basis as we share a little of our faith
journeys with each other. Both events take place in the Church Parlor.
Dress is casual and childcare can be arranged for the meetings.
