Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We hope that everyone is safe, dry, and warm in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.  We have learned through our conversations with Jim Cole and the Office of Emergency Management that the town is doing everything they can to ensure everyone’s safety and then to restore power and all services as soon as possible.

Here at the church, we do not yet have power but the main office will have limited access during the day to computers and email through the use of generators.  We do have one landline working and you can reach church staff at the main number between 8:30am and 5:00pm.

In the event of a pastoral care emergency, please contact the minister on call at (203)984-9791.  If you need food, shelter, or any other assistance, please let the church know as we are ready to help you.

All programming, including choir rehearsals, are cancelled for the remainder of the week and until further notice.  There will be worship services on Sunday, November 4 at 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:15am.  Church school will meet at 9:30am.

Please be sure to heed the town and state’s recommendations regarding your personal safety.

In Christ’s Service,

The Congregational Church Staff
