Through the ages, faith has influenced art, and art has informed faith. Join us in discussion with Dr. Josef Sorett, Professor of Religion and African American and African Diaspora Studies at Columbia University, and also chair of the Department of Religion and director the Center on African-American Religion, Sexual Politics and Social Justice (CARSS) and Stephanie Joyce, visual artist and longtime member of our church. We will consider the role of art in the church past and present and consider its part in our future spiritual life.
