Church Front Circle
Summer is the slowest time for shelter pantry donations, please help Open Door fill their shelves for neighbors in need. Bring your non-perishable items to church on Sunday, July 11 for the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk. Come to the church circle between 8:00am-12:00pm and drop the items in the trunks of the designated cars. If possible please bring in reusable bags and thank you for donating!
The most needed items are:
- Canned tuna
- Canned chicken
- Spaghetti sauce
- Canned pasta dinners
- Peanut butter
- Jelly (grape or strawberry)
- Rice (2 lb bags)
- Dried beans (red or black)
- Ramen packs
- Canned beans (red or black)
- Canned vegetables
- Fruit cups or canned fruit
- Pancake mix
- Pancake syrup
- Cereal
- Oatmeal packets
- Vegetable oil
- Juice or juice boxes
- Coffee
- Dry or shelf-stable milk
- Mac & cheese
- Reusable grocery bags
