Read: Acts 9:19–22

Immediately Saul began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” All who heard him were amazed and said, “Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem among those who invoked Jesus’ name?” Acts 9:20–21

Scripture promises that with God anything is possible, but we seldom believe that claim to be true. With the story of Saul’s conversion, we have undeniable evidence that God can take a vile enemy and transform him into a powerful advocate. Saul, who was intent on exterminating the early followers of Jesus Christ, turned out to be the one who brought the gospel to the gentile world! Without Saul the church as we know it, perhaps Christianity as we know it, would not exist. In the conversion of Saul to the apostle Paul, we are reminded that nothing—nothing—is impossible for our God.

What impossible situation or relationship do you need God to transform today?

Lord, You can do everything—infinitely more than we can ever ask or imagine! How can we doubt You and say, “Impossible!?” That word does not exist for You. In Jesusname, I pray. AMEN.
