Caroline Leather was born and raised in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. She attended St. Rose High School where she was active in her school’s faith and service community. Caroline was introduced to our church in 2015 by her cousin, Kelly Leather while studying Sports Management and Marketing at Sacred Heart University. Serving as a third grade Church School teacher for two years Caroline was in awe of the God’s Acre community and their dedication to faith formation. After graduating in May 2017 Caroline joined us as our Assistant Director of Children’s Formation.

Apart from her work at The Congregational Church, Caroline has held several jobs working with children including water ballet instruction and serving as head manager at The Avon Pavilion on the Jersey Shore where she supervised over 40 teen employees. Following her first Quest mission trip to Crowne Point, New Mexico in June 2018 she has joined Youth Ministries as an advisor for the 2018-2019 program year.

This year Caroline serves as our Director of Children’s Formation leading the day-to-day operations of our church school program. Caroline is excited for her growing roles at the Congregational Church as New Canaan has become her home-away-from-home.
