Tenebrae is an ancient service of Shadows and Light that dramatizes the departure and desertion of Jesus’ disciples shortly after their Last Supper.

This eleven-minute Tenebrae offering is different than our normal observance, obviously, but we still have Dimitri singing the Lord’s Prayer in the darkness and all the traditional readings. My suggestion is for you to watch this piece on Thursday night after dark, and in a darkened room of your own home — your own Upper Room of sorts.
