What to Expect on Sunday

While our Sunday services are rooted in Congregational tradition, our members come from many different religious backgrounds and have all found a home here on God’s Acre. Our Sunday services have a mixture of hymns, prayer, and Scripture reading – culminating in Biblically-based sermons that appeal to both heart and mind.

Our Sunday Schedule

  • 8:00am – Worship service is held in the Chapel, or in the Memorial Garden during warmer months. Each week communion is served by intinction, and there are hymns with piano accompaniment and soloist.
  • 9:00am – During the school year, Adult Lifelong Learning classes are held in the Library, the Chancel Choir rehearses in the Meeting House, and Breakfast Club (a teen Bible study) is held in our Senior Minister’s office.
  • 10:00am – Traditional worship service is held in the Meeting House, accompanied by Chancel Choir and organ. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.
  • 11:00am – Fellowship Hour is held in Smith Hall.

People attend our worship services in a variety of attire ranging from “Sunday best” to business casual. Regardless of what you wear, a warm welcome awaits you here.
